A Transitional Coastal Living Room

When we created this transitional coastal living room we kept our clients favorite colors in mind. Pink was one of her favorite colors so we used it in the accent pillows and accessories. We chose to bring in blues because this is a coastal home.  We added texture with a chevron jute rug and the linen in the pillows.  One of our favorite elements of the room are the end tables on the sides of the wood frame sofa. The shelving on them creates display space for beautiful books and accessories. The overall feel of the room is simple and clean with a little fun and color. To see how to recreate this look view our choices below. Have a great day!

I just love everything about this. Maybe you girls could answer a question for me- how do you mix woods without it getting too crazy? I love the look of the lighter colors here and wondered if it would be weird to use a lighter jute rug like this and a lighter side table like that on top of my darker wood floors?

I really love your blog.. Very nice colors & theme. Did you create this website yourself?
Please reply back as I’m attempting to create my very own blog and want to learn where you got
this from or just what the theme is named.
    Thank you!
