This bathroom has a classic black and white look using timeless tile shapes. We paired large scale black hex tile with white subway tile and white walls painted Benjamin Moore White Dove. A black and white claw-foot tub with statement legs adds subtle detail that elevates the design.

Set against the simple black and white color scheme. is our Becki Owens X HVL Ivy Pendant. This glass tear drop pendant is clean and modern but makes a statement with its size and brass details. It feels modern, yet classic.

We warmed the space with wood details. The herringbone statement ceiling creates a bit of rustic character and really makes the bathroom feel unique. We carried the wood through the room with a wood vanity in a slightly darker tone. Mixing wood tones and metal finishes are ways to enrich a space and make it feel modern. Read more about mixing wood here and metal here.

A neutral vintage rug adds warmth and pattern, while keeping the neutral color scheme. These rugs are one-of-a-kind, but we’ve linked some other beauties, that would be perfect in bathrooms. We love swapping out a typical bathroom mat for a Turkish vintage look.
