We are excited for today’s project reveal. The bunk room of our Town Center Project pairs crisp white with the rich warm colors that fall has us craving. Read on for images and sources of this inviting space in this fun Spanish Modern home.
In our Town Center Project we paired fresh modern lines with warm vintage color and pattern. To keep the overall look feeling fresh, we started with an all white foundation. The walls and the amazing built-in bunks are painted Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace in an egg shell finish. This color is a favorite crisp clean white. Although we like a beautiful matte paint on the walls, the more durable eggshell finish in this space makes it easier to clean. The shiplap-look walls add a little pattern and texture. We used 6″ tongue and groove.
To add contrast, we custom ordered black metal ladder and rails. Using metal instead of painted wood creates a cool modern industrial vibe.
Belgian linen sheets, pillows, and duvet create a luxe lived-in look. A soft wool Moroccan pom pom blanket adds another inviting layer of textured white. Vintage pillows pop against the bedding. We chose a rich indigo mudcloth and beautiful cactus silk pillow.
Between the bunks, there is a little space perfect for bedroom essentials and fun styling. We added personality with a raw-edged slab that adds warmth and a place for drinks, a ceramic peace sign hand, and a planter of fresh greenery.
This small room has large impact with built-in beds to accommodate big families or guests and rich textiles that create a plush welcoming space. See more of this Spanish Modern home in Town Center Project Kitchen, or Town Center Project Spanish Modern Bathroom.
