I’m overwhelmed by the beauty of Paris this time of year. It’s as if the colors of Spring somehow coordinate perfectly with the beautiful colors in the shop windows. I’m so inspired here and taking it all in. This week I’ll share a some of the eye candy I see along the way. To start I had to stop for some treats at Laduree and Angelina. The artistry alone of the pastries drew me in, but I wish I could share the tastes. Here are some pics from our first day. Have a wonderful Monday!

Macaroons at Laduree
The colors are so inspiring. It was hard to pick which ones. I’ll be going back for more.
It’s amazing how they create these gorgeous works of art everyday day. Such precision and beauty. Almost to pretty to eat.
At Angelina’s I tried the Mont Blanc (top left). This is a must try experience. The Mont Blanc is a meringue base piled with extrusions of chestnut purée and filled with whipped cream. It’s incredible.
If you feel like recreating the colorful and tasteful decadence of Paris in your home here is a fun book full of recipes for making macaroons. And if you are feeling even more adventurous, I found the recipe for Mont Blanc here. Enjoy!
I look forward to sharing more sites and discoveries of Paris with you this week. Thanks for joining me in my journey.
