Today I am sharing some beautiful custom English kitchens full of inspiration. deVOL creates timeless kitchens that are beautiful in their simplicity. They feature clean lines, warm woods, natural stones, and painted cabinetry. The clean lines feel modern but the woodwork and muted paint are rustic and inviting These kitchens are the perfect place to warm up in after a cold fall walk.
Dark cabinets, range, and counters graduate to smooth marble and then crisp white. It’s a combination of features I love done in a fresh design.
This kitchen is so light and airy with all the windows and skylights, yet still warm and cozy with the creamy walls and floors.
Dark green cabinets and walls look rich paired with brass hardware and dramatic veined marble. The shelf styled with oil paintings is a beautifully curated touch.
This kitchen has a cool blend of modern and antique. The dual set of industrial pendants stand out in the otherwise understated space. It’s a great look in a modern farmhouse, a sophisticated way of doing country.
Dark and moody everything makes the bright marble counters and the view from the window pop. The copper underside of the pendant adds a bit of warmth and shine. Would be pretty to style out the kitchen with subtle copper hints throughout.
A few great elements of this kitchen are the simple molding on the otherwise clean-lined hood, the steel-frame doors leading to the kitchen, and the pretty green of the cabinets. I like how the black is carried through from the doors to the matte-black range.
These kitchens prove that when each element is thoughtfully designed using quality craftsmanship, a lot of adornment is not necessary. I’m drawn to the timeless simplicity of these spaces. I hope these kitchens have inspired you too. If you are loving the painted cabinetry, check out my cabinet paint guide here or read my post on non-white kitchens. Have a happy Wednesday!
