We have a beautiful dream home to show you today. You may have already seen and fallen in love with this shot of the exterior patio, we’ve shared it before, but wait until you tour the whole house. It’s midcentury perfection. Renovated to maximize natural light and blur the lines between indoors and out, the home is a layering of clean lines, cool concrete, warm wood, and beautiful furniture. Take a look!
The home starts with a fresh foundation of concrete floors, white walls, and simple trim. A mixture of woods in the front entry in both the ceiling and decor add inviting warmth.
The entrance leads to an open kitchen, living room, and upper level that maximizes natural light and the views of the lush greens outside. A neutral color palette keeps the focus on the natural beauty of the location. We love the dramatic paring of black cabinetry, white marble, and brass accents in the kitchen.
Concrete floors run throughout the entire home. Concrete creates a cool organic industrial vibe. For more of this flooring look read 10 Amazing Inspirations for Concrete Flooring. A plush Moroccan-style rug in the living room creates a soft step and defines the space. How beautiful is that fireplace? It is simple, but the floor to ceiling height is dramatic and creates a pretty focal point for the space.
Bold art is paired with one of our favorite sconces in this comfortable lounge space. We always add several source of light to a space to make sure we don’t have shadowy corners and walls, and a sconce above a mirror or piece of art is a pretty way to create a soft glow. A large natural fiber rug adds warmth to the black and white room. Sisal and Jute rugs are usually affordable and a great way to go when you need to fill a large space on a budget.
Beautiful Carrera marble and rich brass create a lux vibe in the bathroom. We love the wall mount sink, the industrial sconces, and the lucite and brass towel holder (read Perfect Pairs: Lucite and Brass).
Each space is perfectly designed with attention to detail. It’s really beautiful, right? The home feels fresh and natural with plenty of warm details to soften the crisp modern lines.
