Heber Project Bedrooms Part 2

Today I am excited to share the final bedrooms in my Heber House Project collaboration with Jamie Bellessa. If you missed it, read Heber Project Bedrooms Part 1 and Heber House Project Master Bedroom to get caught up. In these guest bedrooms, we wanted each to have it’s own vibe while still tying in to the home’s overall aesthetic of fresh rustic minimalism. See how we blended modern and traditional elements and layered textiles to get rich welcoming spaces.

Bedroom 3

This bedroom is full of fun prints, rustic textiles, and rich earthy colors. The two twin beds, a classic black Jenny Lind trundle and a bronze metal with handcrafted castings, coordinate but add interest with their subtle differences in shape and texture. We piled each bed with warm layers and paired buffalo check pillows with a Pendelton wool stripe blanket. Several furniture pieces add storage and seating–a rustic nightstand (we used this one from RH but consider here, here, or here for a similar option at a more affordable price), a white campaign trunk, and an industrial metal bench. We finished the space with a bold dark rug that breaks up all the neutrals.

Bedroom 4

This guest bedroom is clean and simple with a few rich pieces that pop. A classic iron bed (other great options here, here, and here) is paired with Moroccan details for a rich style refresh. We chose a colorful Moroccan rug (less expensive here, vintage here and here), a black and white stripe pom pom blanket, and a woven footstool. A floating shelf keeps the space clean and is a great inexpensive solution to bedside styling.

We had fun designing spaces that feel clean and modern but use bold colors and rich textiles that work in a rustic mountain home. To see more of the Heber House Project check out the kitchen and library. Thanks for dropping by today! Here’s to a great week.
