Today we are excited to reveal details of a recently finished project, the Gorjana flagship store in Laguna Beach, CA. Gorjana creates accessible fine jewelry inspired by the California lifestyle. Our goal was for the store to feel as cool and effortless as her designs. We are in love with the final design. Have a look inside…
The store is located on a great street in the artistic and stylish community of Laguna Beach. We wanted to make sure that it had the cool, coastal vibe of Laguna and a clean back drop to highlight the jewelry. To keep the space light and airy we began with a foundation of white displays, light wood floors, and marble counters.
Carefully selected brass details and vintage textiles add interest throughout the store. Glass globe pendants are grouped together for soft lighting and a beautiful brass and bleached wood table displays jewelry in the center of the space.
A lounge area with a simple sectional, hanging rattan chair, and bohemian details add to the store’s relaxed vibe. It helps create an environment where customers can take their time browsing the beautiful jewelry collections.
One of my favorite details is this barn door from White Shanty Design. They worked with us to create the door’s beautiful design and custom hardware. It provides a unique way to conceal necessary storage.
A small kitchenette with a white subway tile backsplash, open shelving, and brass hardware hides two mini fridges and provides a space for work breaks.
The cash wrap is covered in cool gray and white cement tile with a gold Moroccan mirror and a fur covered stool is placed to the side where customers can consider final purchases.
The overall vibe of the store is fresh, coastal and bohemian. It reflects the cool, modern style of Gorjana and showcases her amazing line of beautiful jewelry. If you are lucky enough to visit it, you won’t be able to leave without finding something you love.
