I saw this kitchen last month and thought it was so pretty. I knew I wanted to share it with you. The fresh space uses many of this year’s biggest kitchen trends, but the overall result is a classic white kitchen that feels timeless. Catch up on this year’s trends in these posts: Two Toned Kitchens, Narrow Strip Hardwood, and White+Natural Wood Kitchens and then check today’s dream space to see how it nails the look.
The kitchen in light and bright but with lots of character that brings warmth to the white space. The white subway tile has texture. You can get this look with handmade tile or more affordably with this tile made with the irregularities that mimic a handmade look.
Both the counters and cabinets are two toned. It’s a subtle change that adds interest. Around the perimeter of the kitchen are white cabinets paired with black counters. The island is painted the softest blue and paired with marble.
Beautiful wood details add warmth to the white paint and tile. The plank ceiling left natural is a statement maker and so pretty paired with the narrow strip hardware floor. Rustic wishbone barstools add another beautiful wood tone. Adding a cushion to your stool in a durable outdoor fabric is such a good idea for creating an inviting space.
Bold pops of color in the dining room contrast with the neutral kitchen. The mod velvet chairs and abstract artwork created a layered, collected look against the rustic and traditional details.
The brass Darlana lanterns above the kitchen island and in the dining room are a major client favorite. So are the brass library scones above the sink (splurge / save). The brass adds color and shine against the white.
This layering of neutrals, textures, and bold pops color create a beautiful space we would love to live in! For more inspiration browse through our kitchen posts here.
