When I shop for furniture and accessories for my designs there are a few places that are my go tos. And since I’ve been getting a lot of questions about items in my recent projects, I thought I would share specifically about Lulu and Georgia, an amazing resource for everything interiors.
Lulu and Georgia is definitely home to many of my client favorites. Whenever I style their accessories into a space they love them. For example, these three, white faceted vases were the perfect way to layer a bit of green into the playroom of the Cido project. They really complimented the design.
Recently, I had the pleasure of designing Amber Fillerup Clark’s NYC living room. The goal was to create a fresh, modern look with an eclectic mix. I shopped Lulu and Georgia for many of the unique textiles and accessories in the space.
They have a big variety of throw pillows to choose from which worked perfect for her living area. Amber loves color so I was able to pull a cozy mix of colors and textures from their site. From an ethnic blue and white print to the fun white fur pillow on the statement chair it was easy to find what I wanted.
The main wall of the living room was a large blank slate. I wanted to create a beautiful statement and draw the eye away from the tv so I framed it with two amazing brass bookshelves from Lulu and Georgia. They really make the space. The shine from the brass and the polished white shelves were the clean, modern look I was searching for.
For final touches, their selection of gold accessories really caught my eye. I love these bookends. They would look pretty in an office or on a nightstand too.
