As you may have noticed we love to style kitchens. We are always on the hunt for great accessories. With Fall in the air and the Holidays around the corner we wanted to share some of our current kitchen cravings. We’ve selected some of our favorite finds for you to view. As you are browsing, you might notice the mulling spice and copper mugs. Here is a little tip. We love to use mulling spice to create rich smells and the feeling of Fall in our homes. Put a little in a mulling spice ball and some sliced oranges in a pot on the stove. Let it brew for hours. The smell of cinnamon, cloves and oranges will make your home feel warm and inviting. See below for our current kitchen cravings.
Today we want to share some of our tips on styling a kitchen. First, we start with a crisp neutral palette. Once we have created a fresh new look in a kitchen, we finish with the styling. This is where we add the warmth and personality to the space. Here are a few of our favorite tips for styling a kitchen:
Beautiful wood cutting boards in different shapes and sizes are one of our favorite styling tools right now. They are useful and great eye candy at the same time. It’s nice to have your serving utensils on hand, and we love to find unique containers to keep them in. When we style open shelving, we like to coordinate the display with one or two colors. We layer stacks of dishes and glasses to create a clean minimal feel. There are so many beautiful cook books available right now, add a few of your favorites for some color. Finally, adding a little green with a potted plant or fresh flowers brings life to a kitchen. We hope the pictures below help give vision to our tips on styling a kitchen. Enjoy and happy Monday!

Our client wanted a modern, sleek kitchen. We knew a waterfall kitchen island with carrara marble would have a big impact and set the tone for the space. We kept it bright and feeling spacious with open shelving and all white cabinets and backsplash. All the cabinetry and walls were painted with a white paint having no pigment. This created a very clean modern feel for the kitchen. The gold hardware was the finishing touch to add polish to the sleek white cabinetry. The result was a clean, chic, minimal kitchen.
When browsing our portfolio you may notice a little pink here and there. We love how pink always seems to add the right pop. Sometimes we use it as one of our neutrals when designing a space. But it can also be used to bring that perfect element of surprise to a room. It’s definitely one of our favorite colors! We hope you enjoy our inspirations for decorating with a pop of pink.
