The design for this California eclectic dining room, a collaboration with Nicole Davis, is a favorite of mine. With natural elements and a casual yet sophisticated feel, the space reveals an effortless bohemian aesthetic. Timeless pieces, mixed with exotic finds create an out of the box, collected and fresh vibe.
To celebrate a special friends new arrival we hosted an evening baby shower. We wanted to create a whimsical, natural feel. To style the shower we kept it simple, serving edibles on natural woods and in crisp white serving dishes. We added pops of color with freshly picked flowers and greens. We hope you enjoy scenes from our whimsical baby shower.
Stay tuned for a DIY on donut stands and one of our favorite recipes from the shower.

When our clients have a need for a work space, but don’t have a designated study or home office, we try and incorporate it into a space to accommodate their needs. Whether it’s in a master bedroom or in a family room, a writing desk can serve as practical piece of furniture without taking over or looking out of place. We love the glass desk in this coastal master bedroom. The transparency of the desk doesn’t distract from the surrounding views and adds beauty to the space. The rest of the decor was kept minimal with a upholstered linen chair and basket for storage. A tall floor lamp was placed next to the desk, leaving the desk simple and uncluttered. Not only does this space blend well with the rest of the master suite, it creates a functional element in an unused area of the room. We hope you enjoy this example of creating a work space in your home. For resources see below. Have a good day.

The inspiration for this kitchen eating nook was fresh and bright. We wanted the space to feel open and full of natural light. To create this look we started with a natural oak stained round table. Then we juxtaposed contemporary white, wired based chairs with the natural element of the wood. Next, we choose an open cut, white drum pendant. Gold accents from the pendant light and drape rods add additional shine to the space. White linen drapes frame the windows, creating a soft ethereal look. The end result was a fresh, crisp white kitchen nook welcoming the light of a new day. To achieve this look in your own space see our selections below. Have a great day!
