Arboles Project Bathroom Progress

Today, I’m excited to reveal progress shots of my Arboles project bathroom. This bathroom is fresh and modern in many ways. The vision for this space was to give it a clean, custom look with the benefits of modern efficiency. Here is a peak into how it’s coming together.

The Arboles project is a home located in Southern California where water conservation is essential, so one of the coolest features in this space is the new installation of a water-saving, high-efficiency toilet.

I’ve recently partnered with Niagara Conservation who introduced me to the Stealth Ultra-High Efficiency Toilet (which can be purchased at Home Depot). I read up on the benefits of installing it in our homes and was amazed by how much water is wasted through inefficient toilets. This toilet is the most efficient toilet on the market and can save up to 60% on water bills and conserve water at the same time. Plus, you may even be able to get a rebate from the water supplier just by having it installed – find out if you’re eligible here. It’s all part of the Niagara conservation #whattheflush campaign that is committed to being eco-friendly and water + energy conservation and efficiency.

Since I work on many commercial and residential bathrooms every year, I’m excited about the chance to install these toilets in several spaces and help with water conservation. Just one toilet saves over 20,000 gallons of water a year. That’s a big impact from a change that doesn’t require ongoing maintenance.

I chose a gray and white palette for this bath to give it a timeless look. The floating, marble vanity transforms the space from traditional to modern with its clean lines. I love how it exposes the patterned tile and opens up the space.

Brass accents from the faucets add contrast and color. Even though the space isn’t fully finished, I love how the hardware gives it interest.

I like to think that part of making a space more modern is making it more efficient. This bathroom not only looks more fresh and open, but it incorporates technology to make a difference. There is progress in this space in more than one way.

Thanks for checking in to see the images of the Arboles project bathroom. Check back soon for more details and a full reveal of the completed space. Have a wonderful Thursday!

Love the progress! I’ve been trying to narrow down tile for my shower and this post has finally helped make my mind up. Thank you! Where did you find the white subway tile? Or is there a source you recommend?
